We welcome all to the beautiful City of Miramar's Cultural Center / ArtsPark Gallery for "Maquettes: The Studies and Drawings of Basil Watson" curated by Hampton Art Lovers

The exhibition focuses on the maquettes of Basil Watson’s iconic sculptures including Louise Bennett Coverly, Usain Bolt, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce and his recently completed 18-foot monument of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr commissioned by the City of Atlanta. (“Maquette” is a study model for sculptures).
